The Pan American Association of Philadelphia is delighted to announce the 2022 Pan American Day and Annual Scholarship Luncheon. The event will feature a keynote address by His Excellency Andrés Durán Hareau, Ambassador of Uruguay to the United States. During the annual luncheon, the Association also will award nearly $20,000 in college scholarships and recognitions to area university students majoring in Latin American/Latinx Studies.

The Pan American Association is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to advancing the concept of “Panamericanismo” among the residents of the Greater Philadelphia region. Today, the Philadelphia region is home to more than 500,000 residents who trace their roots to Latin America and the need for greater cultural understanding expressed by our founders has become increasingly important. We eagerly await your attendance at our April luncheon!

We expect an audience of more than 200 policymakers and leaders from business, cultural and academic institutions in the Greater Philadelphia region with an interest in Pan-Americanism. The event will begin at 11:30 AM with a networking reception followed by lunch at 12:00 PM.

The live video streaming will be available on this page the day of the event
