Latin America has enriched the world in many ways: music, agricultural products, soccer, baseball, silver, energy, metals, architecture, literature, Pope Francis, and much more. In the realm of politics it is the origin of the cacerolazo, which is a non-violent protest consisting of banging empty pots to demonstrate hard economic times. Started in Chile, it has spread around the Hemisphere, and you can even get an app for it to make the work easier. This article looks at the tactics of the opposition in Venezuela via the cacerolazo.
