Colombian Report Renders Accounting of Conflict

Scene from the Conflict

A commission of distinguished scholars has published a report that examines the causes and consequences of Colombia’s long term conflict. President Juan Manuel Santos comments on the report: “As Colombians, the time is here to build our memories on the truth...That responsibility is not just mine, the governments, the victims or the victimizers. No. It’s everyone’s responsibility.” Such reports have been instrumental in healing wounds within conflicted societies around the globe.
