The Pan American Association of Philadelphia joins the world in mourning the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis, the first Pope from Latin America.
His life of service, compassion, and humility left an indelible mark on the global community, inspiring people of all faiths and backgrounds. As the first pontiff from the Americas, Pope Francis brought a voice of hope, justice, and unity to millions across our hemisphere and beyond.
We extend our deepest condolences to all who mourn this profound loss, especially to the people of Latin America, whose spirit and faith Pope Francis so beautifully represented. His legacy of empathy, inclusion, and advocacy for the vulnerable will continue to guide and inspire generations to come.
May he rest in peace.
